Enjoying a Quiet Environment
This spring has been used by the locals since the Edo period. The spring stopped flowing because of an earthquake in 1914. In 1956, Akita University investigated, and later drilled and hit a vein of the hot spring and the inn was reopened. The red roofed building stands on the riverside is elegant and looks beautiful in the surrounding woods.
