Inn among the Mountains Alive with Rustic Beauty

The best of the Nyuto Hot Spring area may be its blessed natural environment, whatever else might be said. There are lots to enjoy all year round; fresh green, mountain climbing, autumnal leaves, skiing, etc. Ogama Hot Spring may be the most favorable as a base to explore nature. At first sight, the building has a nostalgic appearance but originally it was a junior high school, and reconstructed as the inn.

The bath is spacious and very utilitarian with no showy ornaments. In the air of a mountain inn, this seems to be rather good. When opening the door at the bottom of the bathtub, an open-air bath of simple concrete spreads out like a small size pool. It has a full, rustic air and, above all, it is comfortable for its severe style.
