Fully Enjoy the Best of an Open-air Bath
In recent times, the Nyuto Hot Spring area has rapidly gained a growing reputation. All the hot springs dotted in the area display their individuality. A distinctive feature of Ganiba Hot Spring may be its wonderful open-air bath.

In particular, it is invigorating to weave your way to the open-air bath through trees covered by snow. Although it is probably because I visited at a time with much snowfall, I think such superb locations are the result of nature which cannot be duplicated by man. It is hard to replace the feeling of taking a bath surrounded by shining trees covered with snow on a good day. Moreover, the inside bathes for men and for women use lots of Akita cedars, and are really pleasant.
