Seven Kinds of Attractive Baths
This hot spring may be one of the most notable hot springs among the hot spring resorts in Akita. Since being founded in 1918, this spring has had a proud 80-plus year history.

Bath with "Volcano Bath" Noted "Box Sauna"
Goshougake Hot Spring has seven kinds of baths such as “hako-mushi-buro (box type steam bath)” where you can get warm with your head sticking out of a wooden box, “doro-yu (hot mud bath)” which acts as warm pack, “utase-no-yu (beaten by hot spring)” which has a deep massage effect, and “kazan-buro (volcano bubbling bath)” which is highly effective in making your skin beautiful.

Guest room Long-time lodgers relaxing in a large room
From ancient times, this hot spring has been famous as a mecca for "hot spring medical treatment". There is, therefore, an institution for hot spring cures only for recuperating, other than an ordinary inn. The room has a Korean floor heater which warms the floor with heat from the earth all the year round. You can choose a single room or a large room (sharing a room) as you like with meals or do it yourself.

It is surrounded by rich nature. Taking a walk or a hike when you are in the mood to go out is strongly recommend. "Shizen-kenkyu-ro (natural research path)" spreads to the east side of the hot spring and you can go around the path in about 40 minutes, and touch on the fringe of volcanic activity.
